“In line with the strategic direction of bringing Deli up to the level of regional brands (introducing the brand into regional markets), FDC participated, under the Deli brand name, in the #1 regional food fair, Gulfood 2009 (Dubai WTC, February 23 – February 26 2009) . The aim behind this participation was to gain regional exposure and to meet with potential business partners who would represent potential distributors for the brand in their respective markets. During the fair, FDC was approached by circa 70 potential distributors from almost every country in the region (Syria, Jordan, KSA, Kuwait, UAE, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Iraq, Yemen, etc…, and few African countries) who showed interest in handling Deli. Negotiation reached an advanced stage with a couple of them, with the first order being made by one company in Syria, and the Jordanian market to follow soon.”
