1.Day-to-day System Administration duties will include: user account creation & management, server and workstation maintenance, installation, and configuration, disaster recovery, data management, data protection and network management.
2.Initiates preventive maintenance on the operating systems as well as repair to system/environment problems.
3.Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of Cisco technologies along with an understanding of UTP cable installation and termination, network management and a demonstrated knowledge of network hardware configuration (routers, switches, firewalls).
4.Substantial Experience in the installation and support of VMWare Virtual Server environments, Active Directory, Windows Server 2003/2008, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003/2010, VERITAS Backup Exec, Antivirus, Windows Server Update Service, DNS,DHCP, TCP/IP, blade server management, Cisco Catalyst management, Web filtering, mail filtering, IP telephony.
5.Works closely with vendors, And Performs Vision Solution administration duties that are required to maintain and manage high availability of the platform and disaster recovery solutions.
6.Develop and implement network system and user security requirements so that:
Backups are secured off-site in accordance with company specifications.
Security requirements are monitored, implemented and enforced in accordance
with company procedures.
7.Participates in the IT Budget preparation and in the formulation of the IT policies and procedures.
8.Provides concerned employees with technical advice and help.
